Another section of the so-called Istrian Y motorway has been opened to traffic. The Croatian prime minister, Jadranka Kosor, also took part at the opening ceremony. From now those who want to use the 28 km long Pula – Kanfanar section need to pay a toll (see motorway tolls here). The construction of connection roads and further lanes on other parts of the Ypsilon continue. So far drivers were due to pay a toll only on Mirna bridge and at Učka tunnel in Istria.
